The Senior Engineer, Software is responsible for designing, developing, documenting and testing Object Oriented Software for VTI product line. As a part of team, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary engineering group focusing on next generation new product development and design. Roles & Responsibilities This position has responsibility for:
o Design, document, develop, and test Object Oriented Software o Work closely with hardware engineers for end-to-end integration of products o Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites o Continuous integration using tools such as Jenkins o Participate in design reviews, software process development activities Competency Requirements In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills) o 3
years software programming experience in structured Object Oriented languages o Trained in structured software design, documentation, coding standards and source code / configuration management. o Strong knowledge of OO languages such as C++, .NET, Python o GUI development using tools such as JavaScript & HTML5 o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications o Experience with writing host drivers for instrumentation products o Working knowledge of network programming Education Requirements o Minimum BS in Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
